So a lot of these “initiating hit with the helmet” calls are going to
obviously be very controversial. However there are some that I‘ve seen where (although I don’t agree with defenders having to do it.) they could have adapted the way they would have performed the hit to avoid the penalty.
We are definitely going to be going over the topic in a lot more depth in this weeks podcast but if things like this are to become the norm in the NFL, I think we are all in for a very bad time
